Fluigent is hiring a Senior Sales Manager to support its continued growth in North America. Based in New England – Greater Boston area – you will lead business development across the region while working closely with our global commercial team based in France.
About the role
As Senior Sales Manager, you will lead Fluigent’s commercial development across Americas, driving revenue growth while strengthening relationships with our customers and strategic partners.
Reporting to the VP Sales of Fluigent Inc. and working closely with Fluigent’s global commercial leadership based in France, you will be responsible to develop your territory and contribute directly to the company’s continued growth.
This is a highly visible role for a sales professional who enjoys combining business development, technical selling, and developing the existing base of customers and strategic Key Opinion Leader management in a fast-growing environment.
What you’ll do
- Drive revenue growth and achieve sales targets across your assigned territory.
- Own the complete sales process, from prospecting and lead qualification through technical presentations, product demonstrations, proposal development, negotiation, and closing.
- Develop and expand relationships with academic laboratories and research institutes.
- Identify new market opportunities and build long-term partnerships with key scientific stakeholders.
- Collaborate closely with the Applications Engineers, Customer Support, Communication, Logistics, and Sales teams in France to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
- Manage the sales pipeline and maintain accurate sales forecasts and reporting using CRM tools.
What we’re looking for
- Minimum 5 years of successful B2B sales experience in scientific instrumentation, laboratory equipment, analytical systems, or related technologies.
- Proven track record of consistently achieving or exceeding sales targets.
- Experience managing complex technical sales.
- Demonstrated success developing business across a large geographic territory.
- Previous sales management or coaching experience is an advantage.
- Scientific background in Life Sciences, Biology, Chemistry, Engineering, or a related discipline, or a solid understanding of research environments.
- Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for business development and customer success.
- Ability and willingness to travel approximately 35% throughout North America.
